This Civic Engagement Toolkit is designed for small business owners that want to encourage their community about getting involved in the 2022 mid-term elections through nonpartisan engagement. This toolkit equips small business leaders with the tools to take action and lead change locally and nationally on MSA’s core issues: health care, care economy, capital access, anti-monopoly, and tax fairness. These issues are on the ballot this November, and your vote is your voice

  • When entrepreneurs and small business owners participate in civic discourse, elected leaders, candidates, and the public take notice. Small business owners represent the diverse fabric of our country and can make a case for building an equitable and vibrant economy with care at the center. There is a significant opportunity for entrepreneurs to advance reform by participating in the midterm 2022 elections. Main Street Alliance’s civic engagement program is aimed at cultivating small business voices to shape solutions on issues of state and national importance. Small business owners are capable of addressing the root causes of small business economy issues to create lasting, systemic change.
