The Main Street Alliance is a national network of small business coalitions working to build a new voice for small businesses on important public policy issues. Alliance small business owners share a vision of public policies that work for business owners, our employees, and the communities we serve.
The Alliance creates opportunities for small business owners to speak for themselves on issues that impact their businesses and their employees. Our growing network includes small business coalitions in a dozen states. Learn more about our state partners by clicking on the links in the right sidebar.
The Main Street Alliance is steered by a National Steering Committee of small business owners from our state coalitions. The National Steering Committee identifies issue priorities, establishes MSA positions, and provides direction and guidance for our work at the national level.
The Main Street Alliance launched in 2008 as a program of the non-profit Northwest Federation of Community Organizations and Community Organizations in Action, and now operates as a program of the Alliance for a Just Society and Community Organizations in Action, based in Seattle, Washington.
